Defining my target audience

My target audience is going to be for the age range of 17-25 year olds. This is because in my questionairre i found it was this age that was most interested in music and because if i aim it any lower, the prime age im targeting at will not like it as much. Likewise if it is aimed a little bit higher.



My music magazine is also going to be about rock/metal music. In my questionairre this is the most popular genre. I will make it for more underground music because if i make it target it also towards more popular music, people into more underground music will go off it and the target age that im aiming it at are into more underground artists than major artists.
